Wish I actually had time to update this crazy blog, but I don't. School and work take up most of my time and what's left is taken up by my family and friends...or sometimes scrapbooking! ;)
I mostly just use this blog to comment on other people's amazing blogs like these below:
everydaycricut.com
tammyskinner.com
cricut.com
These are my favorite go-to's for inspiration! :)

Hiding Feature on Design Studio
I have to share what I just learned! I was reading on the Cricut Message Boards about how to make a card & someone mentioned that you can "hide" something on Design Studio so you don't have to waste paper and cut out 5 different colors of a layer, when you only wanted the one piece in, let's say blue. Then you can hide that layer and cut out the other part you want in red.
I had never heard about this & was extremely anxious to test it out. So I got onto DS and clicked an image then the layer button. To hide parts of a layer just individually click on them making them red, then right click on your mouse and on the menu that appears click "Hide Selected Contour" at the bottom of the list. After you let go, that part will turn blue and will hide so you're not wasting paper!!
I was so excited and couldn't wait to share it with anyone else who did not know about it! Now my question is...does anyone know if we can hide images like this one the Gypsy?
Hope my explanation made sense!

I caved!!
I CAVED and got a gypsy! I've had it for only about 5 days, but after 1.5 days, I was sold! I LOVE IT! :)
When it first came out, I honestly thought "why in the world do I need to be able to 'scrapbook' and design when I'm not at home? The gypsy idea sounds kinda dumb to me..." but since it came out everyone has been gushing about how great it is! Well, now I'm a gusher & am totally on board the gypsy-mobile!
Reasons why I love it!
1. Portability -- I don't have to be sitting at my computer to design something!
2. Convenient -- It fits right into my purse, now I won't get bored when waiting somewhere.
3. The screen -- The screen appears too small - in fact, it's great...you can zoom in/zoom out!
4. Grouping -- This feature is amazing. Thank you Provocraft!
5. Welding -- One of my favorite Design Studio features!
6. Cartridges -- I can see what cartridges I have, don't have, and want!
7. Keywords -- Finding something is 5x easier than on DS because it shows the cart & a pic!
8. Size -- It's not too big and not too small, just right!
9. Storage -- It stores my cartridges! Now I can loan a friend a cartridge & still have it to use!
10. Multitasking -- It's the perfect thing for us scrappin-obsessed, cricut-lovin, cartridge-droolin multi-taskers! Since us ladies always feel the need to be doing 3 things at once...we now can even easier!
I'm excited for the sales this week! The cartridge I'm looking to get is Designer's Calendar! :)

"I'm so excited & I just can't hide it!"
I DID IT!!!
I finished my grandparents' scrapbook a few weeks ago around 5am the day we left! It turned out amazing! I absolutely love it! They were so happy to receive it and enjoy it! It sounds like my grandma has been showing it to a bunch of her friends so I suppose that means she likes it a lot...right?! The book is 60 pages long! It's the longest scrapbook I've ever done...it beats my other grandparents' scrapbook (my dad's parents) by 2 pages. It's pretty neat though because my dad's parents got married in 1958 & their album is 58 pages long and my mom's parents got married in 1959 & their album is 60 pages..because ofcourse I can't do an odd number of pages! ;)
Now to the thing I'm super excited about....I'm making a bunch of Christmas cards for the soldiers overseas! My friend Emily & I were working on the cards tonight and getting everything ready for Sunday when we have a few other people coming over to help us! We're going to mass produce these things! I'll try and take a few pictures & put them up...if I remember!
Until next time,

So close!
Hey!
Remember how I said about 2 weeks ago that I had to finish this 50th anniversary scrapbook for my grandparents & I still had tons to do? Well, I'm almost there. I'm about 15-16 pages away with it all being done. (Did I mention it is about 60 pages long?) Our whole family is getting together this weekend so it has to be done by tomorrow before we leave.
My mom has been helping me work on it the last 2 nights....we've stayed up til 1am scrapbooking! Actually, my favorite time to scrapbook is super late at night or just scrap all night! What can I say? I'm a night owl!
Last night I just ordered Sweethearts! I'm soo excited about playing with it! I already have card ideas in my head & things to add into this 50th scrapbook! Even though I'm giving it to my grandparents tomorrow, I had to save room to add those few cuts in later....some of them look like they'll fit too well not to use them! Besides, I'll have to ask for the album back to add in the pictures from all of us getting together... (Just one more excuse to play with a new cartridge!) ;)
Happy scrappin'!

2 weeks & lots to do!
These days I'm working on a scrapbook for my grandparents' 50th anniversary! It's a lot of fun, but sooo much work!
I've had to scan almost all of the pictures & then reprint them. And yesterday I had to convert slides into digital files. What a learning experience, but I enjoyed it as well!
We're going away as a family in 2 weeks for their anniversary so I'm hoping to have it all done by then, only I have barely done any of the actual putting the layouts together because my summer has been crazy busy and I feel like all I've done is scan pictures!
All I can say is...if I didn't have a cricut, I would have a lot of more work to do! Haha. I'm glad I can cut out all of the names & don't have to try and find enough stickers in all the letters....what a headache that used to be.
"I need two r's and I only have 1! That means either I have to switch to a different color or buy another sheet of stickers for only one letter."
Happy scrappin'!

I'll admit it. I'm a scrappin' addict!
Heyy!
I thought I'd join the blogging community. I'm an 18 yr old girl who loves to scrapbook & make cards!
I've probably been scrapping for about 8 years now. I have the Cricut Expression and absolutely love it! I am definitely addicted to this hobby. I love getting new Cricut cartridges to try out. My current favorites are Life's A Beach, Simply Sweet, & Wild Card! They're all adorable.
I enjoy keeping up with a few of the scrappin' blogs & thought I'd just join in on the fun! Three of my favorite blogs are: just-a-scrappin.blogspot.com, creativecritterscricutclub.blogspot.com, and cricutchristmas.blogspot.com!
I love keepin' up to date on all the new cartridges & news from Just A Scappin' and I enjoy getting project ideas from both Creative Critters Cricut Club & the new Christmas with the Cricut (also run by the lady from Creative Critters). I would definitely recommend looking those blogs up!
